I couldn't be happier because I did it myself. Simple to set up and a simply wonderful sound.
No more of this brand will I buy. as in it is a no-frills version of a real DVD player. Poor buy for the money. If you like slow motion, Am radio, or rapid repeat of select scenes, do not buy this. It has a lousy assortment of features.

You have to let it play each song or go to next song by typing in 02 or 08 etc. but sometimes I find that the ipod has been playing through the night after I shut the thing down already. Enjoy the flexibility of the system with CD's DVD's, IPod, FM radio. Crazy I know, but maybe it's operator error. 1) The IPod dock doesn't control the iPod very well. Design-wise, I like the low profile look of it and the speakers are non-obtrusive.
Pretty easy to capture the surround sound if the speakers are placed right. 2) The CD player - pretty basic element - doesn't advance to next song with any button on the remote. Pretty easy to set up with my Polaroid flat screen TV. That is, the remote can pause it, play, FF , etc. Otherwise, pretty happy with it considering how affordable it is. I'm not an expert in music quality or anything so I can't describe the 300 watt clarity but it sounds great in our small place.
System works great as far as all the media applications with two exceptions.
I HIGHLY recommend this system to any one , for the features it comes with you could not have gotten a better buy for the price and it was shipped for FREE. I have have also hooked my XBOX to the system and I can now go on live and play in surround sound. Thank you Amazon. I love the idea of an IPOD dock as there is no need for CDS , just dock and play and what's great is that you can flip through songs with the remote.
